Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Customer
- More than 21 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates
Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Children Policy
- The rate for children applicable for one child sharing a twin or double cabin with two adults:
- FOC for 1 child under 4 year old sharing EVERYTHING with parents.
- Child from 4-12 year old sharing room with parent: charge 75%
- Child under 12 year old stay in 1 cabin: 75% adults rate + single surcharge
- For charter cruise: Child from 4 year old count price similar to adult

About Dragon Pearl Junk
Dragon's Pearl Junk is the more extensive junk boat available to groups in the Indochina Junk family. The three Dragon's Pearl boats were fashioned after old-school Chinese junks that used to sail.
Dragon's Pearl offers an off-the-beaten-path cruise trip to Bai Tu Long Bay with a variety of exciting activities, much like all the other boats in Indochina Junk's fleet. Up to the very last second of your journey, our staff makes every effort to make sure you are entirely happy.
This traditional junk boat is a perfect mid-range cruise for business incentive groups or gatherings with excellent attendance (up to 20 persons). Alternatively, reserve a spot and make new acquaintances while cruising the bay.
Facilities & Deck Plan
This mid-range cruise has 3 decks, 10 cabins, and indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Each cabin is tastefully furnished in a rustic design and equipped with contemporary conveniences for a pleasant overnight stay:
On the first deck, there are 04 Twin cabins and 02 Double cabins with a size 11m2.
The second deck is where the other 04 Double Cabins and the indoor dining area are located.
The third deck features a sundeck for a relaxation area and an outdoor dining place.
In spite of the Dragon Pearl Junk Cruise is a little bit small, it still applied necessary amenities to provide guests with the best experience.
Dining area
It was meticulously designed with teak and oak, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. With a seating capacity of 36 chairs, this space was ideal for intimate candlelight dinners as well as enjoyable family meals.
Bars
There are 02 bars available on the ship. One is located inside the indoor dining room, while the other is situated on the sundeck, accommodating up to 25 guests. These bars offer a wide selection of cocktails, liquor, wines, and other beverages, ensuring a delightful drinking experience for passengers.
Sundeck
The sundeck, situated on the top deck of the ship, offers a breathtaking vantage point to admire the bay during dusk and spend quality time with friends. The sundeck features handcrafted teak and wood furnishings, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. Whether you choose to relax or socialize, the sundeck provides the perfect setting for both.

Service & Activities
On the 2-day-1-night cruise, guests will take time discovering Bai Tu Long Bay attractions, including the exploration of Thien Canh Son Cave, Hon Co Island, Vung Vieng Village, and Yen Duc Village. The 3-day-2-night trip extends the journey to include a visit to secluded parts of Cap La and Cong Dam.

You will have a chance to discover Thien Canh Son Cave in around 30 minutes with the beautiful unique stalactites formed over thousands of years.
Unwind on Hon Co Beach
Another highlight on the 1st day is kayaking at Hon Co Beach to enjoy the limestone islands in the bay. Let’s take one amazing hour to let your hair down and paddle up!
Visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village
Experience a memorable bamboo boat transfer to the enchanting Vung Vieng fishing village on the last day, where you can immerse yourself in the distinctive way of life and picturesque landscapes of this captivating village nestled within the natural heritage site.
Kayaking in Cap La
Spend 1.5 hours at Cap La and use a kayak to immerse in the pristine nature, where the peaceful mountain scenery mixes with the sparkling white sand beaches.

Participate in a cooking class at 17:15 and learn how to make fresh spring rolls. Let’s combine the fish sauce with aromatic herbs and other ingredients for a delicious culinary experience.
Water puppet in Yen Duc Village
Take a brief respite in Yen Duc village, located in Dong Trieu province, and immerse yourself in the authentic Vietnamese agricultural setting. This charming village is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and time-honored traditions.

Food & Drink
Dragon Pearl Junk promises a delightful dining experience where you can indulge in sumptuous meals. The menu offers a diverse selection of European and Asian cuisine, ensuring a variety of flavors for each meal.
The usual serving time is from 7:00 - 7:15 for breakfast, 10:15 for brunch, 12:30 - 13:00 for lunch, and around 19:00 for dinner.
Note: If you have any special dietary, please let us know since the crew team always customizes to meet your demands.
About the beverage, two bottles of mineral water per day will be provided complementarily. Extra drinks excluded from the cruise price will be charged separately according to the price listed on the bar menu.
Alcohol drinks
The cocktails are around US $7 while the wine is around US $6.5 - 8 for each glass. We have a variety of wines from whisky, bourbon, and martini, from glass to bottle, etc.
Besides, mocktails are also our best choice drink, which cost only US $4.5 for each glass.
Non-alcohol drinks
Only from US $1.5 to US $3, you can enjoy a glass of fresh fruit juice, smoothies, coffee, tea, water, and other soft drinks on Dragon Pearl Junk.
Transportation
Departing from Hanoi
The bus will conveniently collect you from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:00 and 8:30 then you will then be transported to Tuan Chau Port in Halong City.
Departing from Tuan Chau Port
if you are arranging your own transportation, it is important to arrive at the designated waiting station (No 1 Halong Road, Bai Chay Ward, Halong, Quang Ninh, Vietnam) for Dragon Pearl Junk around11:30.
By approximately 12:00, all guests will be transferred to the Dragon Pearl Junk via tender for a seamless embarkation process.
