Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- More than 21 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- From 11 to 20 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less than 7 days before check-in & no Show: 100% of total rates
Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

7.5 hours: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Sung Sot Cave - Luon Cave - Titop Island
Morning
Welcome to our Amethyst Cruise! You will meet your shuttle bus (book in the next step with an additional fee) and driver at your hotel around Hanoi Old Quarter around 7:00.
Upon arriving at Lot. 27 Tuan Chau Harbor, guests will check in and board the Amethyst Day Cruise for a journey to discover the World Heritage Halong Bay at 10:30.
After 30 minutes, enjoy a welcome drink as the cruise departs from Tuan Chau Harbor while passing through the legendary bay with thousands of limestone islands, such as Dog Rock, Duck Rock, and Thumb Rock.
Indulge in a huge buffet lunch featuring an array of dishes, including seafood and traditional Vietnamese food.
Afternoon
In the early afternoon, explore Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. The cave is divided into two main chambers, with the first chamber being the larger of the two and containing various formations resembling animals, plants, and objects.
After 1 hour of cave visiting, move to Luon Cave for kayaking in about 30 minutes. You'll find a large, circular lake with crystal-clear water and breathtaking views of the surrounding limestone cliffs.
Kayaking is not only for adults but also for active kids.
Then visit Titov Island, which features a beautiful sandy beach, clear blue water, and stunning panoramic views of Halong Bay. You can climb to the top of the island's hill for a breathtaking view or enjoy swimming and sunbathing on the beach.
Finally, return to the cruise and get ready for the Sunset Party, where Vietnamese tea, coffee, fresh fruits, and snacks will be served while guests relax on the sundeck or in the Jacuzzi. On the way back, the cruise will pass by the Hoa Cuong area, one of the most beautiful spots in the bay.

The 2nd deck also has balconies to admire the bay, all balustrades are made of glass, which gives a better experience onboard. The sundeck is a wonderful place to unwind, having a Jacuzzi and delicate lounges.

We were pretty pleased with our trip. The team is both nice and professional. The cruise is quite new and modern. The buffet meal is rated 7/10 because it is often oily. However, the buffet is diversified, with a strong emphasis on seafood. The timetable was tight yet effective, allowing us to visit multiple locations in one day:) We would recommend this trip to others!

The ships are fantastic and give off a luxurious experience, and the cuisine was delicious. Staff were all nice, especially Mr. Nhu Y, and the lady guide, whose name I forget. Both were extremely interesting. I would suggest this cruise and program to anybody visiting Vietnam.

My wife desired to visit Halong Bay, and I had been looking for a cruise for a long time. We decided on a one-day cruise with Amethyst. And we made the finest decision ever. It was a fancy 5-star experience, yet Feli was really kind and inviting. The wonderful staff treated you like family. The buffet was fantastic, with plenty of fresh seafood, and if you have any allergies, they can prepare different dishes for you. The jacuzzi on the third deck was fantastic, and I spent most of my time there. Everything was well organized. Extremely professional. Excellent cocktails and a sunset party with fresh fruit tea and pastries. ROSIE, our host, was fantastic. She was incredibly hilarious and explained everything very well. The day's history and program. I'd like to do it again! You will not find a finer cruise. Excellent value for money. The boat is completely new. They have shower facilities and provide towels for Jazzuzi. You will be astonished at the end of the journey. Thank you to everyone, especially Rosie, who is the best. A true GEM!

Amethyst Day cruise ship itself appears to be very new and comfortable. The facilities on the cruise are excellent. There is a Jacuzzi where you may relax. The buffet meal is well-prepared. There are proper seafood such as fish, prawns, squid, and oysters. The service is excellent as well. The staff are friendly. Our tour guide Y clearly explains and organises the itinerary. If you have never gone to Ha Long Bay, this is the cruise company to go with. This is one of the very best ones.
