by TripadvisorWe organised with the brilliant Mia Nguyen at Best Rate Tours for a 3 day, 2 night tour with Orchid cruises on their nostalgia boat. Mia’s help and organisation was brilliant. Due to the typhoon we had to change plans but she was helpful, friendly and organised throughout. We genuinely could not have asked for more from her. The boat was clean, comfortable and with some absolutely brilliant staff. We are well, plenty of options and lots of food available. The trips we took from the boat were even better than expected. An amazing experience.

Is this tour to Van Long still available for 6 people on Sunday 3/15/2020?

I think our guide (Mr Allen) was not too happy. Maybe the heat got to him. He didn’t engage with the group.
He kept a professional smile but was short with us. Snapped at one of the passengers when they asked for more water. Her said rudely. NO. He was also abrupt and rude to another traveller sitting on table next to our group and he made him move so we could sit together. It was the way he said it, very abrupt and harsh. this person happened to be a fellow Australian so that didn’t go down well with me.
Unfortunately of all my guides in Vietnam and other countries. I was most disappointed in his manner. I didn’t fill in the survey as I don’t think it would have kept what I said.
But I did hike both sides of the dragon hill, enjoyed my bike and river trip under the caves.More

we were 4 pax packed in one boat. Each boat should be for 2 persons. And the guide should've accompany us during the boat trip. Also most of the temples are under construction so we couldn't really enjoy it.
