Ba Na Hills, Cultural Journey in Hoi An & Hue 3 days

Morning

From 07:30 to 08:00, our minivan and tour guide will collect you from your hotel lobby to the favorite tourist area in Da Nang - Ba Na Hills.

Upon arrival, we will reach Ba Na Hills by hopping on a cable car, an impressive system that is the only way up, giving you the opportunity to sightsee Quang Nam and Da Nang City from above. See the Dream Stream Cable Car Station offers perfect photo opportunities as you are at a height of 1,487 m above sea level.

Your first stop of the day is the legendary Golden Bridge, which has an exotic structure that is highlighted by the US’s TIME magazine. The mystical atmosphere created by the morning mist enhances this pedestrian bridge's ethereal beauty. Then, you will head to Le Jardin D’amour, and marvel at Linh Ung Pagoda.



Continuing the second cable car ride to the magnificent French Village, you will immerse yourself in cobblestone streets filled with street musicians, admire intricate art statues, and see the Campanile. The Nine Floor Goddess Shrine and Tombstone Temple showcase a fascinating architectural fusion of Eastern and Western influences. After that, it is time to fill your belly with a good buffet at a nearby restaurant. 

Afternoon

You will keep the rest of your day going on the Lava Train from Sun Kingdom to many new gems for Instagram check-in photos, such as Helios Waterfall, Time Gate, Moon Kingdom, and so on. Next, you will enter Fantasy Park, Vietnam's largest indoor entertainment complex.

Navigating across Fairy Forest, you will encounter life-sized dinosaurs in Dinosaur Park, and experience cutting-edge technology with 5D wild west, a 4D death race ride, and a 3D mega 360-degree cinema. Thrill-seekers can participate in an adventure into the underground, come see Jurassic Park, challenge themselves on Freefall Tower, or test their courage in Horror House.

At about 15:00, you will return to the cable car station to leave Ba Na Hills. From 16:45 to 17:45, our minivan will transport you back to your hotel, concluding your trip to the place that is a checklist for any foreign visitors.

At 15:00, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your trip through the old town of Hoi An. This special town has many beautiful buildings that are hundreds of years old.

First, you will kick off your visit to Hoi An Market, where residents come every day to buy and sell fresh food and handmade items. Then, you will go to Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colorful temple with amazing wood carvings and bright decorations.

Step into the past when you pay a visit to Tan Ky Ancient House or Phung Hung Ancient House, both over 200 years old. Here, you will learn interesting stories about how Vietnamese families honored their ancestors long ago. Continuing to the Museum of Folk Culture, you will spend time admiring old items and gaining information about the way people lived in the past.



The highlight is that you are given a chance to watch a great art show at the Traditional Performing Arts House, where local artists play music and dance in the traditional way that has been done for many years. What is better than wrapping up your cultural discovery at the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, the most well-known place in Hoi An? Take this valuable time to look closely at one-of-a-kind carvings and long-standing paintings that tell stories about legends in the region.

While enjoying your walking tour, it is easy to find yourself lost in several handicraft shops and art stores, which sell silk items, lanterns, and wooden crafts that are hard to locate elsewhere.

Evening

As the sun begins to set, you will have a memorable boat ride. Do not miss the chance to join the tradition of putting flower lanterns in the water to bring good luck to you and your family. Next, watch as lanterns in different colors, shapes, and sizes light up waterways. 

Once done, it is also a good idea to stroll along gorgeous lantern-lit streets and try local food such as Cao Lau when the town becomes bright and magical after dark. The soft light makes everything look beautiful and fanciful for evening walks.

By 19:30, our guide will escort you back to your hotel, and this is the end of the tour for today.

From 07:00 to 07:30, our guide will meet you in your hotel in Hoi An for a transfer to Hue. Shortly after, we will gather other guests in Da Nang.

From there, the adventure commences as we travel north towards Hue, passing the breathtaking Hai Van Pass, widely regarded as one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world. Alternatively, depending on weather and traffic, we may take the Hai Van Tunnel for a faster route.

On the way, we will pause for 30 minutes at the peak to get a panoramic view of the mountains meeting the sea. Afterward, you will enjoy a short 5–10-minute stop at Lap An Lagoon, where the peaceful water and misty mountains create a postcard-perfect scene of Lang Co Bay.

At 11:00, you will arrive in Hue and embark on your cultural journey with a visit to Khai Dinh Tomb. This royal mausoleum displays a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western architecture and offers insight into the country in a fluctuating era.



Around 12:30, you will proceed to delight in a Hue-style lunch at a local specialty restaurant. This is a great opportunity to taste authentic dishes unique to the former imperial capital, known for their refined preparation and royal presentation.

Afternoon

Continue your discovery with a move to Imperial Citadel, the former home of the Nguyen Dynasty, at 13:30. Walk the grand gates, explore ancient palaces, and learn about the rich history behind this UNESCO World Heritage Site are what you can do there.

Your next and also last stop is Thien Mu Pagoda, the largest one in Hue. Perched on the bank of the Perfume River, it is not only a religious site but also a symbol of the city.

Finishing a fulfilling day of exploration, we will set about our return journey at 16:00. You will be dropped off in Da Nang at approximately 18:00 and in Hoi An around 19:00, marking the end of an unforgettable trip into Vietnam’s ancient capital.
