Authentic Mekong Delta 2 days with homestay: Ben Tre - Tra Vinh

Morning 

09:00: We will arrive in Mo Cay (Ben Tre). We will ride on a sampan boat along the canal then get on a cruise for an exploration along the Mo Cay River to visit Thom Coconut Floating Market. This floating market is well-known for its activities involving the exploitation and exchange of coconut products. The bustling trading and exchanging activities on the serene, beautiful river will provide you with amazing memories.

11:30: We will keep our cruise on the Con Chien River to Con Ho (Ho Isles), then enjoy some delicious delicacies at a local house. After that, we will take our time to stroll around the surrounding area for some adventure. Make a stop at a fruit garden and Mr Hai Trai’s house for an herbal foot bath experiment.

Afternoon 

13:00: We'll return to the pier and continue driving to Tra Vinh City to discover more about Khmer culture. We will go to Ba Om Pond and enjoy its fresh air and serene, quiet environment. Visit the Khmer museum in Tra Vinh to learn about the material and spiritual cultures of the Khmer ethnic people. 

15:00: We will drive to a homestay in Ben Tre for checking in. You have a chance to join an exciting cooking class, where you can learn more about the local cuisine, and then have a delicious dinner. We will spend the night in a farmer's house.

Morning 

You will have breakfast at 07:30. After the meal, we go on a bike tour to view the local market and a broom-making workshop to get to know more about the local’s daily life.

Following that, take your chance to try on some tasty honey tea from a local family. Riding a sampan boat down the canal and immersing yourself in the lyrical quiet surroundings. We'll cycle back to the homestay. At noon, we will have some homemade lunch with the family.

Afternoon 

At 14:00, you will be delivered back to Ho Chi Minh City or the next destination.
