Welcome to Laos, the beautiful and landlocked country located in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival at the Pakse airport, you will be picked up and transported to Fandee Island. 

Tonight, you have the option to spend the night in a charming treehouse or a cozy lakeside bungalow on the island, allowing you to choose the accommodation that suits your preference for a unique and memorable experience.

You will have the entire day to explore as you wish. 

The lodge has free boat transfer to Champasak, free bicycle, and plenty of activities available to book on spot. We recommend you join a traditional dance class within 1 hour and/or a cooking class at a villager home.

Around 09:00, we transport you to the enchanting village of Ban Lao Ngam. Here, you will meet the Jeep tour specialist who will provide a short briefing of the tour. 

After that, you will drive to Suay village, where tourists can witness rice paddies and numerous traditional bamboo longhouses and gain insight into their daily routines. 

Our next stop is the Laven village, offering a captivating glimpse into the world of the Laven ethnic group. This rural haven, enveloped by verdant landscapes, represents the soul of traditional Laos.

At 11:00, we will take a 10-km road heading to a coffee farm in our private Jeep car. Upon arrival, you have the privilege of spending an hour with the owner of the coffee farm and gain some insights into the coffee-making process, from seed to cup. You can observe coffee harvesting, bean drying and even participate in traditional coffee roasting.

Following the farm visit, you will join a 30-minute Jeep drive to reach Tad Moun waterfalls. Here, you can relish the refreshing coolness of the waterfall and explore the nearby vegetable farm.

Tourists head to Paksongafter the tour and spend the night at Sinouk Coffee Resort.

After breakfast, visitors head to Champasak, a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by adventurous couples seeking an authentic and tranquil escape. En route, we will stop by to admire the stunning Tad Fane waterfall, where two powerful streams of water plunge from a towering height of approximately 120 meters into a lush, jungle-clad gorge. 

Upon reaching Champasak, tourists will uncover Wat Phou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This architectural masterpiece showcases exquisite stone carvings, dramatic staircases, and intricate temple ruins, all set against a backdrop of lush greenery.

After your visit, we continue your trip at Champassak to see samples of French colonial architecture before driving to Don Khong where you have the rest of the day to relax or to explore the island. Overnight in Don Khong Island.

After breakfast, we hop on a long-tail boat for a 1.5-hour voyage into the expansiveMekong River. Dive into the allure of Southeast Asia's legendary Mekong River, where adventure, culture, and nature blend seamlessly.

Upon arrival, you will have a great chance to explore the tranquil local villages of Ban Khone, a haven for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. This island also has historical significance as it was once a French colonial outpost while constructing a railway to pass the rapids of the Mekong River.

Our exploration of the 4000 Islands area continues with a tuk-tuk ride. This is where we'll visit the breathtaking Liphi waterfall, allowing visitors to see the riverbed and underwater rocks with astonishing clarity.

You are free to explore and immerse yourself in this ancient city for the rest of the day. Overnight on Don Khong Island.

Tourists are free at leisure for the whole day. 

After having breakfast at the hotel, we recommend exploring the charming streets or relaxing at the riverside bars. You also have the option to visit the nearby Done Det, well-known among backpackers, or spend the day sunbathing and relaxing by the hotel pool. 

Overnight stay will be on Don Khong Island.

After having breakfast at the hotel, make your way back to the mainland at the fishing village of Ban Nakasang. From there, tourists continue the journey southward to visit Khone Phapheng, the largest waterfall known as the “Niagara of Asia.” Visitors immerse themselves in the raw beauty and cultural significance of this awe-inspiring natural wonder in the heart of Southeast Asia.

Leaving Khone Phapheng, we board the boat to Done Daeng, a small, serene island with a laid-back atmosphere, lush greenery, and scenic landscapes.

You have free time to relax and explore independently for the rest of the day before embarking on a fantastic sunset cruise along the Mekong River, allowing you to marvel at the stunning natural surroundings.

After the tour, we transfer to La Folie Lodge for overnight.
